Mr. Levy is a senior partner at the firm; Mr. Levy heads the firm’s Taxation department. Mr. Levy advises clients on the various legal aspects of a wide range of economic and fiscal issues. Specializing in matters pertaining to Israeli and International taxation, Mr. Levy has special expertise in tax planning, negotiating with the relevant tax authorities, and representing clients in court on tax related matters. Mr. Levy also represents clients on commercial matters which are not tax- related, including high-profile class action suits. His role in this area has been significant in developing an awareness of this relatively new area of litigation in Israel.
Mr. Levy is a co-author of the leading treatise “International Taxation” in Israel.
The 2012 Chambers and Partners legal ranking refers to Mr. Levy as an "outstanding lawyer," whose areas of specialism include international tax planning" and quotes clients saying he has "delivered high-quality advice when under enormous pressure".
