Mr. Amit graduated from the National University of Buenos Aires, and had been certified to practice in Argentina since 1947, and in Spain since 1993. Mr. Amit worked as an attorney in Argentina until 1954. He was admitted to the Israeli bar in 1956 and practiced law in Israel for over 50 years, till his last days. Mr. Amit was appointed in 1969 to be the Honorary General Consul of Paraguay in Israel.
Mr. Amit has been a mentor, a friend and an inspiration to all of us at Amit, Pollak, Matalon and Co. We shall continue to carry his legacy with pride.
