Ravit Arbel, a partner in the firm, heads our competition and regulation department.
Ms. Arbel has vast experience of about two decades representing Israel’s largest corporations in a variety of industries in all aspects of Competition and Antitrust Law matters, including civil, administrative and criminal aspects ,mergers and acquisitions, matters relating to concentration groups, monopolies and restrictive trade practices.
Ms. Arbel is a top tier advocate ranked as Leading Individual by the Competition and Antitrust Chambers Global 2018;
Ms. Arbel routinely appears before the Competition Authority and the Courts in civil proceedings, class actions and criminal cases regarding the violation of the competition law.
Leveraging her extensive experience, Ms. Arbel takes a pragmatic approach and is able to provide creative solutions that achieve her clients' goals.
Ms. Arbel is also an expert in Regulation and Compliance, and has extensive experience representing companies in legislative proceedings in the Knesset and before the designated regulator, in a variety of fields.
Ms. Arbel is a well-known expert in Food Regulation, and due to her expertise, regularly represents the food industry in legislative processes regarding food regulation. She advises leading food manufacturers and retailers, and has conducted an extensive food regulation compliance program for several leading clients in the food industry. Ms. Arbel is recognized as a food regulation expert by the Ministry of Health Food Services and key figures within it.
Prior to joining APM & Co., Ms. Arbel led the Antitrust practice in the law firm of Goldfarb Seligman & Co. and before that, she was a partner with the law firm Weinstock Zecler.
During her military service, Ms. Arbel was an assistant to the military prosecutor and acquired vast experience in criminal law proceedings.
